ALEX FRAY SQUASH COACHING
For those of you who don’t know me, I thought I’d introduce myself! I am a Level 2 qualified squash coach, and hope to be taking my Level 3 course soon. I’m 21, and have just completed a BSc in Sports Science and Coaching at Nottingham Trent University. I’ve been playing squash since I was 12 – starting at the junior section here at RSC, and working my way up to become a first-team player for the club.
I’ve been coaching for six years, and offer individual or group squash coaching sessions. I’m confident that as a coach, I’ll be able to improve your skills, whatever your level or age. Whether you’re a beginner or a club champion, there’s always room to improve!
When coaching I look at various skills and will use techniques that will improve your game and challenge you to improve. This includes off the ball techniques such as movement.
I am DBS checked, first-aid and safeguarding trained through England Squash, and so am able to offer junior coaching. I am available to coach your children individually or I can refer you to our fantastic junior section at the club – to join other juniors playing in one of our various sessions over the weekend. (Where I am also involved in the coaching!)
Please don’t hesitate to get in contact and start your journey to being a better squash player today!
